Text Me - Second Phone Number App Reviews

Ive had this app for about 3 years and used to recommend it to everyone. The latest version has caused it to be so sluggish and slow that it is almost useless. Literally useless. The ads pop up at weird location to make u think they are part of your text string causing you to tap the wrong area of the screen. If your not already a user Id try a competing app before u get tied into a number here.

I have had no problems with this free TextMe app. Through wifi. I am still waiting for my credits from installing "Clover" dating site last night. ??? When and will my credits be added?? The nice review I wrote was about the original text app Since then you have updated to A HORRIBLE NEW TEXTING APP THATS UNREADABLE NOT EASY TO LOAD AND I AVOID USING IT ALMOST 100%. Im only using when I need to have that number I use on this app since its good for my fb etc. Thanks for turning my favorite text app into a nightmare.

I pay to have the ads removed and since the update the app makes it seem like removing ads isnt even an option.

The free texting is fine as for the telephoning better have a credit card or use sponsorship Michael Elman

The updated version crashes all the time. Half the time I cant see what Im writing because the keyboard is covering the message bar. I used to love this app and would have given it 5 stars, but they messed with a good thing.

When you try to link a number with an existing contact ... it erases all the list thats there already... Really got me mad

VIOLATION OF PRIVACY AND TERMS OF USE. someone else has taken over my PASSWORDED ACCOUNT and started messaging INAPPROPRIATE THINGS to my contacts! Rather than addressing the situation my account was banned. APP IS BLANK, have reinstalled a dozen times ALL MESSAGES GONE no ability to log in!!! The most recent updates deleted my history, stopped updating messages, would load without newest messages, and when I deleted the app-reinstalled and the restarted it seemed to be ok (minus messages older than a month or two, and only a few missing threads, and search function didnt work) until the last time I turned my phone on suddenly it stopped texting. I re installed and now it wont even load! Cant log in or see messages, and Im in a panic because Ive been using the app for work communications. All requests from the help centre are not answered or investigated Im simply told my account was frozen for anti fraud, but of course, they didnt bother trying to fix the initial issue. WATCH OUT DO NOT DEPEND ON THIS APP FOR ANYTHING.

The update ruined it worst app ever so slow it crashes too much had to reinstall cuz it wouldnt load shoulda stuck with the original layout worst app ever dont download it unless u want it to forever load and get texts late

The app updated and now its being very slow, it wont load new messages that come in.

I bought 100 credits with my card but a receive no credit. Paid $3.21 for no reason.

Can not text one number that i always texted before just randomly stoped working and they havent blocked me or muted me and i havernt done that to them and they arent using text me fix this!!

I havent paid a phone bill in more than a year since I can use this almost entirely free!

Ive been a user for 7 months. I use this app as my only means of texting. I dont have a traditional cell phone. I have a data plan on an iPad Pro instead. I hate talking on the phone anyways. Ive never had a problem with the app until a couple days ago, long story short it was my error. I reached out to customer service, who make their contact info easy to find. I sent an email, I got a ticket number back instantly. Later that day I received a response from a representative who was proactive, professional and prompt. Needless to say I no longer have a problem with the app. Great customer service.

I have reported many problems with this app and they cant even have the decency to just reply back. This company only cares about money and not servicing and keeping their customers. They charged for numbers that show its free and will not refund back the subscription after many attempts. They took all my credits for a call that went to VM, again they havent responded. The calls drop n chip out. I would only use for free calls if need be, dont give these people your money. It takes forever to collect coins to make a min international call. Look for a company that will help you when you have an issue and this is not Text Me. Give me back my money, and STOP false advertising.
